Note: Due to the Port of Los Angeles’ planned construction of a “Town Square” in front of the Museum, the Museum will be temporarily closed to the public beginning in early February 2020. Driving from the North: From the 110 South Freeway, take exit 1A for CA-47 toward Vincent Thomas Bridge. Take exit 1C for Harbor Blvd. Turn right onto Harbor Blvd, and then turn left on 6th St (the street sign will say “PVT DWY”). Just past the Museum is a free parking lot and free street parking.
Driving from the West/South: Heading East on 22nd St, turn left onto Miner St. Continue straight onto Harbor Blvd, and bear left at Sampson Way. Turn right on 6th St (the street sign will say “PVT DWY”). Just past the Museum is a free parking lot and free street parking.
Go Metro: Take the Silver Line south to San Pedro. For your best route, use the Metro Trip Planner.
To ensure the safety of visitors and artifacts, no skateboards, scooters, or hoverboards are allowed inside the Museum.
Food and drink are not permitted, other than bottled water. The Museum does not provide storage for food, drinks, or other prohibited items.
Shoes and shirts are required.
