April 1 @ 12:00 pmFree
This event will be rescheduled to take place in person at such time as that is possible in accordance with COVID restrictions. Please check back for updates.
After author Mark Rozelle discovered his grandmother’s archives containing hundreds of photographs, documents, and ephemera, he spent over a decade researching the history of his family who lived on a 114-acre ranch along the Los Angeles River. Learn how the Rozelles overcame droughts, floods, earthquakes, and the Great Depression, as the river brought them both wealth and tribulation.
The talk is free and co-hosted by the Friends of the Los Angeles Maritime Museum and the Torrance Historical Society, with grant funding from the office of Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn.
Mr. Rozelle is the Author of “Beside the L.A. River”, available for purchase on Amazon.
