467 Ships of California Shipbuilding Corporation, Part 1.

The Papers of California Shipbuilding Corporation is a manuscript collection of materials that document the construction and launching of Liberty and Victory Ships during World War II. The shipyard, located on Terminal Island in Los Angeles Harbor, built 467 ships between 1941 and 1945 for the U. S. Maritime Commission.

The Papers include photographic prints and negatives, office files and a full run of Calship Log published between 1941 and 1945.
