“A is for Anchor”…was a hands-on voyage through the maritime alphabet where visitors of all ages can tested their alphabet skills by learning how each letter of the alphabet relates to a seafaring word, person, or object. Visitors could touch a real anchor, pull weights on a block and tackle device, and open a door to learn about local lighthouses.
